Matt Golfo Videographer | Video Editor | Multimedia Producer

Matt is a Bronx-born videographer, editor, and multimedia producer who believes visuals have the power to shift perspective and spark connection. Growing up in the Bronx shaped the way he sees stories. He learned early that every block, family, and small business has a narrative worth telling.

He holds a B.A. in Cinema & Screen Studies from SUNY Oswego (2020), where he directed, filmed, edited, and starred in an original television pilot that won First Place in the WTOP-10TV Pilot Contest, and co-edited a short film that took First Place in the 24 Hour Film Challenge.

Matt's work spans commercial video, promotional content, social media campaigns, community programming, podcasts, and sports highlights, and he's comfortable owning a project from concept through final delivery. His credits include coverage for BronxNet, a Honda commercial shoot for Plaza Auto Mall, campaign content for Smoke Rise N.Y., and promotional work for restaurants and small businesses throughout the Bronx during Savor The Bronx 2026.

Among his proudest work is his time as a Podcast and Videographer Mentor at Amani Charter School, where he taught middle schoolers the fundamentals of storytelling and video production. He watched students who had never spoken into a microphone before finding their voice, a reminder of why he does this work, and part of what drives his hope to inspire the next generation to use their own creativity to make a difference in their communities.

Outside of work, Matt plays basketball, studies philosophy and
psychology, and practices meditation. He credits each with sharpening
his ability to connect with people, understand what moves them, and
stay grounded in his own values on and off camera.
